Justin Jinsoo Kim is an experimental filmmaker and animator based in South Korea and the United States. His moving image work explores memories, myths, and the possibility of animation form as an alternative approach to documentation. Kim’s work has been screened internationally, including at the New York Film Festival, Cinéma du Réel, EXiS (Experimental Film&Video Festival in Seoul), Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and Jeonju International Film Festival. He has had a solo screening at Roy and Edna Disney CalArts Theater(REDCAT, USA). Kim received an MFA in Experimental Animation from the California Institute of the Arts and is a recipient of the MacDowell Fellowship(2022).

김진수는 대한민국 출신의 영화 감독 및 애니메이터이다. 그의 작업은 기억, 기록의 욕망, 그리고 대안적 기록으로써 애니메이션의 가능성을 탐구한다. 캘리포니아 인스티튜트 오브 더 아츠(CalArts) 실험애니메이션 석사과정을 졸업했으며 뉴욕영화제, 시네마 뒤 레앨, 서울국제실험영화제, 전주국제영화제, 안시국제애니메이션영화제,에딘버러국제영화제 등 국내외에서 상영하였다.
